Financial Analyst

CDE Financial Analyst

Belongs to Customer Delivery Europe.

This position reports to the CDE Europe Analytics and Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up CD P&L:

For Revenues & Expenses:

o Monthly actuals reconciliation & reporting preparation, cross-checking data obtained via various tools (Hyperion, Oracle & ER)

o Follow up monthly revenue & expenses performance against budget and Forecast

o Lease with Central Finance department for data alignment as well as with business partner to crosscheck financial results and forecast.

o Preparation of input for forecast cycles: Preparation of data, organization of meetings with the various business owners and proposal of forecast scenarios.

o Preparation of reports for quarterly Management reviews.

o Support daily financial operations with in-depth analysis as well as ad-hoc required reporting for management.

  • Be active contributor in the billing activities by:

o Supporting the closing activities by preparing Internal reclass files, Customer business agreement funded projects and Accruals.

o Following up monthly billing adjustments with the extended CD European teams.

o Support and assist CDE teams with ad-hoc billing queries and billing corrections.

o Perform in depth analysis on billing operations and billing cases to ensure accurate billing of all CD implementation services.

o Lease with other internal teams (i.e., Controlling, Billing), for any billing or financial process improvement.

  • Monitoring of Waiver utilization as well as other internal funds.

  • Generate pricing simulations and propose pricing optimization proposals when required. Follow up ad-hoc changes on service’s individual pricing.

  • Be an active backup for the Operational analytics activities. This involves learning the business operations and being able to track a defined number of reports and activities in absence of the operational analyst.

All About You

  • University degree in Finance, Business or Economics preferred

  • A first experience (3-4 years) in a Finance Analytic role with proven knowledge in accountancy.

  • Results driven and solutions oriented

  • Experience with effectively managing multiple deliverables in a highly matrixed environment, ability to work in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders

  • Builds internal relations and be a team player

  • Be passionate about financials and numbers!

  • Strong analytical skills with an eye on details

  • Stress-tolerant, motivated, and proactive

  • Very organized, process oriented, able to deliver within agreed timelines. Having a great sense of ownership and accountability

  • PC literate with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Access, Oracle and Hyperion is a plus. Programming is a plus.

  • Outstanding verbal and writing English
