Business Development Manager – Digital Partnerships

The Digital Business Development Team focuses on security and convenience of payments. The mission involves implementing new services through innovation and partnerships and transforming complex technical matters into business objectives. The team is currently looking for a Manager who will develop our relationships with key external partners. The ideal candidate is passionate about advanced technologies, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

As a Business Development Manager, you will grow revenue by developing and pursuing opportunities with new or existing partners. You will focus on building profound relationships, defining clear and efficient processes and solving technical challenges. Your role will be to execute partnership expansion plans aligned with geography and segment strategy.

In this client-facing position, you will:

• Build and maintain close relationships with Mastercard major partners to identify business opportunities, solve problems, and deliver products and services

• Take responsibility for driving revenue and partners’ satisfaction

• Support existing business development relationships (e.g., government, regulators, industry bodies)

• Define and manage operational processes aimed at execution of the partnerships

• Support development of technology architecture required by partnerships

• Supervise and coordinate solving of technical challenges and issues

• Analyze partners’ existing business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting, and competitive analysis

• Develop financial modeling and business cases for identified business development opportunities

• Support the execution and management of the partnership contract agreement process

• Strong and confident partner able to communicate vision and roadmap effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders and execute projects effectively

• Good team player able to build strong relations with people around

• Experienced in executing and managing business development strategies for mid-sized countries/regions/industry verticals

• Experienced in business modeling and supporting strategic decisioning

• Have some consulting/advising experience in business and strategy analysis

• Experienced in payment technologies, diligent in exploring technical challenges and finding solutions

• Track record in managing technical responsibilities for architecture and implementation of complex payment solutions, and definition and control of operational processes

• Skilled at understanding and explaining technical problems simply and clearly

• Demonstrated success introducing existing and emerging solutions

• Fluent in Polish and English
