Director, Specialist Sales

Overview of Role:

Mastercard Loyalty Solutions is the world’s largest loyalty company, a service division within Mastercard providing reward, offers and benefit programs and platforms to both financial institutions and merchants. We manage over 600m accounts on our loyalty systems serving over 2000 global clients providing an end to end outsourced service and are at the leading edge of next generation loyalty including Personalised Card Linked Offers and Pay With Reward Points solutions. We are a global team of 900 loyalty specialists working across the world and are at the leading edge of integrating loyalty with payments.

We are looking for a dynamic business development person to hunt down loyalty sales opportunities amongst financial Institutions in Japan. Working with the broader Mastercard sales and account teams you will be a specialist creating winning propositions for clients from our broad suite of loyalty products and vendors and work with solution architects to sell complex loyalty platforms and programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sell loyalty solutions and services to all levels of financial Institutions in Hong Kong as well as new and emerging neo banks.

  • Help these companies redefine loyalty strategies to achieve better business results by transitioning them to a Mastercard loyalty solution.

  • Create winning sales narratives, technical solutions and client loyalty/commercial loyalty models and be able to speak with authority and expertise in front of clients during pitches and workshops

  • Close out the deal with contracting and pricing approvals

All About You

  • A dynamic business development expert, a thought leader with high energy

  • Have excellent relationship management skills, presentation skills, a good level of financial and technical acumen and a deep experience in loyalty and loyalty program management, preferably with a consultative sales approach

  • Have hands on experience in running or providing consultation to loyalty solutions/platforms for 10+ years

COVID-19 Considerations
