Director Business Development - Commercial Payment Solutions


Hong Kong and Macau are major growth markets for Mastercard and part of the Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Korea (HMTK) Division

Mastercard is also the market leader for commercial payments in Hong Kong and Macau and is driving growth by capturing new payment flows in Corporate T&E, SME and B2B payments

This position (Director Business Development €“ Commercial Payment Solutions) is responsible for driving the commercial payments business in Hong Kong and Macau and reports jointly to the Senior Vice President, HMTK Market Development as well as to the Vice President Commercial Payment Solutions, Asia Pacific Region


This position is responsible for:

(1)Driving sales and revenue from Commercial Payment Solutions for Corporate T&E, SME and B2B with major banks and partners in Hong Kong and Macau

(2)Developing new sales / distribution channels through strategic partnerships

(3)Partnering internal stakeholders to drive customer engagement with account and functional teams

(4)Management reporting disciplines, including sales force

All About You

University degree holder €“ with significant working experience in the payments / financial services industry

Commercial Payment Solutions sales and or product experience in capturing B2B payment flows, payables, receivables, etc

Work experience in transaction banking (cash or trade) or from a payments service provider / scheme supporting b2b payments

Track record in business development and working in new technology

Strong team player with good communication and presentation skills

Good at coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders

Creative, high learning agility, can pick up skills and knowledge quickly and thoroughly

Skilled at management reporting and gathering insights from granular data in order to influence decision making
