Make an Impact as a Senior Managing Consultant and Digital Subject Matter Expert
As a Senior Managing Consultant and digital subject matter expert, you will be a trusted client business advisor, and scope, lead, and advise on digital client engagements. As the subject matter expert, you will partner with the Business Development team to develop and pitch engagements that can leverage Mastercard data and consulting knowledge in digital. You will be responsible for enabling centralized training and knowledge management in digital, and will lead engagement teams to best in class insights and project deliverables. Leading the work of the project Delivery team, you will provide subject matter and industry expertise, be a resources to others to identify creative and efficient solutions, and guide the team to business-focused solutions and recommendations that drive client value. Responsibilities within project management will include owning mid- to senior-level client relationships and proactively engaging in the client agenda, internal culture, and relationship risks.
To ensure success in the role as a digital subject matter expert, you should exhibit the following:
Passion for digital transformation in the financial institutions space (particularly in retail banking and cards management)
Strong executional experience supporting banks in their digital transformation journey (particularly in the cards business)
a. High level understanding of core banking systems
b. In-depth understanding of the IT architecture for a cards business covering:
i. Lead generation systems / CRM
ii. Onboarding and Origination systems (i.e. e-KYC, CDD, credit underwriting)
iii. Core Card management systems (e.g. fraud monitoring, authorization system, transaction management, loyalty systems, payment processing)
iv. Collection systems
v. Mobile banking
vi. Data analytics Platforms (e.g. data warehouse, MIS reports)
Experience working with major card management systems (e.g. Cardlink, Way4 Group, FIS)
Understand the difficulties with digital transformation and is able to work as a thought partner to help client resolve potential roadblocks
Broad based experience across multiple business lines (e.g. retail banking, SME banking, corporate banking) is a plus
Experience across multiple AP markets would also be seen positively
You will mentor and coach junior teammates outside of direct engagement teams, and engender effective contribution to Mastercard’s knowledge management and best practices within digital.
