Consultant, Systems Analyst - ESS Fraud Products aligned with Brighterion
The Brighterion Development team builds new capabilities for our patented Java/C++ based platform, which processes billions of transactions per month using a multi-tiered, message-oriented approach for high performance and availability. These new capabilities involve web applications for managing fraud solutions and fraud events, web services for exposing capabilities to customers, and vendor applications for business rules management and fraud scoring.
The Consultant, Systems Analyst will provide technical guidance and expertise for developing these new platform capabilities .

Meets with product owners and technical lead to translate business and technical needs into project objectives and subsequent system requirements
Provide business and technical analysis of product or application hardware and software to ensure that business and functional requirements can be met. Extract true business drivers and needs that can be clearly documented and understood by the development staff.
Determine development impacts to current processing and work with programmers and users to ensure accuracy of enhancements.
Lead estimating efforts to fulfill requirements
Create, elaborate, and track functional stories; facilitate elaboration sessions
Assist with system enhancement prioritization
Work with QA team to develop user acceptance criteria and evaluate results
Provide technical support to Product Owners during implementation of new products/services
Direct and coach junior resources in the development of several medium- to large-scale business cases at once
Assist with analysis of support ticket issues
All About You
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Deep knowledge of software development processes including SAFe/Agile processes
Ability to be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and able to function under pressure in an independent environment along with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results.
Relevant experience in requirements gathering and relationship building with business clients
Able to lead project teams, collaborate with business partners, vendor/ consulting organizations and peer level professionals
Experience continuously developing and mentoring talent, identifying team strengths/gaps and determining where to build or grow skills within the team
Experience collaborating with different team members to ideate appropriate design solutions
