• The Director, Australasia B2B & Commercial Products, is responsible for leading the strategy, product development, and implementation of Business to Business (B2B) commercial products to drive growth across Australasia and the Pacific Islands.

• Part of the Product & Innovation Australasia team

• This role develops winning strategies and tactics that best meet the unique needs of commercial customers (issuing banks, acquirers, fintechs, and other players in the B2B ecosystem)

• Product scope is focused on the management of existing B2B products, and launch/scaling of newer capabilities.

• Do you have experience working in the commercial payments field – including traditional card products, treasury management, account receivables/payables, real-time payments and/or as an end user of these products?

• Do you have experience in product strategy and development?

The essential responsibilities of the Director, Australasia B2B & Commerical Products position are as follows:

• Responsible for the Divisional financial performance of Commercial Products, achieving main P&L's drivers target and closely participating on the main drivers forecast process.

• Capture market feedback from new and potential partners and use this information to develop business cases for proposed product developments that drive both revenue growth and make it easier to connect and transact using this new technology, with an eye towards scale.

• Partner with local, regional and global B2B & Commercial sales and product teams to drive initiatives.

• Provide consultative product expertise, education, best practices, and implementation guidance for product features and functionality to internal partners (e.g. Sales/Account Team, Product Delivery, etc.) and external customers (e.g. Issuers, Acquirers, B2B partners, etc.)

• Work closely with business and external stakeholders to ensure effective two-way communications regarding collection of business requirements and communication of key product decisions, plans, and releases

• Leads the Division's thought leadership for all Commercial Segments and Solutions

All About You:

• Deep knowledge of B2B Commercial payments products and platforms as well as prior Corporate/Commercial Banking experience

• Knowledge of the B2B payments ecosystem and players in Australasia an advantage

• Strong understanding of commercial B2B and Procure to Pay (P2P) business processes/needs and the ability to translate those needs into business and product requirements

• Analytical; willing & able to dive into the technical details in one conversation & turn around and position the main ideas to senior level stakeholders & customers

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with previous experience in a customer-facing role interfacing with senior level executives

• Keen understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends, and the ability to translate that understanding into meaningful action and enhancements

• Experience using product management tools, e.g. market and product plans, project timelines, marketing research, product validity and financial models, capital budgeting, etc.
