Job Title

Senior Analyst, Business Development Government Engagement Transit

This person will manage New Business Development with Transit opportunities (including expansion of contactless open-loop acceptance, by enabling new acquirers, ticketing companies and transit operators) and develop new mobility ecosystems to bring new volume to Mastercard.

Major Accountabilities

  • Understand mobility market dynamics and trends to drive sales and implementation of Mastercard solutions

  • Understand Transit Operators needs and challenges related to fare collection

  • Sell direct to Government and Transit Operators to increase penetration of electronic payments

  • Identify opportunities for traditional and non traditional issuers / acquirers as channels

  • Act as a consultant to Sales Team

  • Develop customized business cases for existing customers and prospects

  • Work aligned with Product Development and Sales teams on the development of new ecosystems to capture new volume

  • Work with Sales, Product Development, Customer Delivery and Marketing organizations ensuring that project is successfully and timely implemented

  • Effectively engage the pears to support customers/projects

  • Support the team to deliver revenue and achieve Brazil financial targets

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, MBA desired.

  • Languages: English and Portuguese. Spanish is a plus.

Experience/Knowledge:

Relevant experience in the Payments Industry

Supervision: Reports to the Director, Business Development Government Engagement.
