Senior Data Scientist

Our innovative cross channel AI solutions are applied in industries such as fintech, investment banking, biotech, and insurance. The team at Brighterion pushes the boundaries of innovation for Artificial Intelligence technologies with a culture focused on delivering the results our clients expect and deserve.

The Brighterion Model Optimization and Performance team is dedicated to building, maintaining, and optimizing artificial intelligence (AI) based models and solutions to customers across various industries. The predictive models help some of the largest financial institutions in the world to detect and stop loss that occur in real-time by utilizing and implementing supervised and unsupervised learning approaches to help mitigate the effects of fraudsters.

It encompasses the following activities:

• Use of Machine Learning technologies including supervised learning and unsupervised learning

• Develop model and processes, perform feature engineering and parameter tuning to provide optimal outcome

• Automate process for modeling pipeline and execution

• Monitor and visualize model performance and data

• Data cleaning, ELT, manipulation, visualization, etc.

• Communicate results to customer with and without technical background

All about You

Technical Skills:

• Experience with statistical analyses tools (e.g., Python, R).

• Experience with modeling techniques - fraud detection, machine learning is desired.

• Experience with Hadoop clusters, Python and Spark desired.

• Experience writing complex queries to efficiently extract, manipulate and analyze large amounts of data from big-data database platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Oracle, postgres)

• Experience conducting analysis and identifying trends /gain insights.

• Experience with visualization and automation.

• Familiarity with UNIX.

• Degree in computer science or a related field
