Lead, Software Development Engineer
Job Title: Lead Software Development Engineer
Role Description: As a Lead Software Development Engineer, you are a key player on the Development team. You will apply your broad knowledge of modern web software technologies to build leading edge easy-to-use web interfaces and web services that drive our exciting platform that will be serving millions of users. We are looking for motivated, hands-on individuals who will proactively seek ways to improve our products, software architecture, and our development process.
BS degree or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2+ years’ experience as lead engineer
Good experience building RDBMS (PostgreSQL) driven web applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of web technologies, web design, and web architectures.
The ability to work with a diverse group of co-workers, understand customer needs, and develop solutions to meet those needs
A plus to have some knowledge of Unix/Linux system administration, Unix shell scripting, Cloud Native Engineering, Web Security, Big Data
