Director, Product Management - North America Small Business Segment Team
The Director, Small Business Segment manager will be part of the North American small business segment team which is responsible for advancing the Mastercard small business efforts throughout the United States and Canada. They will play a critical role in the development, integration, and execution of digital/beyond card strategies. The Director will be responsible for identifying, developing and bringing to market solutions that meet the holistic needs of small businesses as well as our partners within the payment ecosystem focused on a beyond card strategy anchored in digital and technology innovation. They will also work to determine how to best integrate existing products and platforms (MDES, Send etc.) can advance Mastercard’s small business position in current and emerging payments approaches.
Contribute to the definition and implementation of business strategies with a focus on beyond card that will drive growth of small business market share and Mastercard revenue. Currently, market share is defined as small business credit and debit card spend, however as we continue to evolve our solution set the matrix of market share will evolve
Product development and management of beyond card based solutions focused on digital enablement, integration of current and new Mastercard assets to enable small business owners
Partner with internal and external constituencies to identify, research, and analyze new digital/technology-based products, services and capabilities; Mastercard assets, solicit input for concepts, enhancements and market intelligence
Engage and manage cross-functional teams through all phases of the product development process, and serve as a strategic liaison, facilitating ongoing communication and collaboration efforts
Provide regular updates to senior management on the group's, activities, results and budget
Provide consultative sales leadership, especially during complex and cross-departmental sales discussions through the combination of deep functional skills, small business accumen and a thorough understanding of Mastercard's assets, positioning the organization as the best solution partner for the customer
Manage the development of financial business case and ROI analysis for the owned projects
