Director, Product Market Specialist, Regional Issuers, North America Digital Products & Labs


The Director, Product Market Specialist will play a critical role within Mastercard€™s Digital Payments & Labs (DP&L) team. This individual will be a €œone stop shop€ for regional issuer account teams in term of digital products and solutions, providing thought leadership, technical product knowledge, value proposition definition, customer engagement and overall digital support for a set of prioritized issuer accounts. S/he will be responsible on educating, promoting and driving Mastercard€™s DP&L product suite including Masterpass, Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES), Send and Labs within regional issuers in the U.S. Region.


Be the owner of all things digital for a set of prioritized accounts in the regional issuers segment for the U.S region

Drive core business through digital product and solutions while advancing Mastercard€™s digital agenda and priorities for the regional issuer accounts

Identify customers€™ digital needs and drive digital discussions focusing on thought leadership, market trends and Mastercard product offerings which will address these needs while driving value for both MasterCard and our customers

Creates and owns DP&L roadmap for prioritized regional issuer accounts

Continuous best practice and lessons learned sharing between regional issuer accounts

Highlight product developments and innovations to regional account teams acting as voice of Products & Innovation

Represent voice of customer by communicating market and region€™s feedback and opportunities to Products & Innovation team with the goal of improving existing solutions and developing new solutions

Coordinate seamless transition to Product Delivery team for program implementations

Active participation in the annual partner planning and product prioritization process

All About You

Strong passion for and knowledge/expertise of technology, innovation, payments, e/m commerce

Significant experience in business development, account and product management

Experience in digital payments and management consultancy preferred

Excellent communication and interaction skills - ability to develop strategic points of view and lead customer-facing conversations across different levels of the organization

Strong ability to act as a team player and create trust relationships across the organization

Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating in a team and/or cross functional environment

Strong business acumen, with the ability to identify, capture and deliver business results

Forward thinking, with ability to develop creative approaches to solve business situations

Domestic overnight travel required (30%)
