Overview

We are currently hiring for our Relaunch your Career programme. This is a 16 week paid placement that helps people who have had a career break (minimum 2 years) to return to work. You will have the chance to lead on an engaging project at Mastercard, plus on-the-job training, coaching and support. At the end of the 16 weeks, there is a potential permanent role waiting for you.   • Leading the innovation in proposing marketing solutions to Issuers, Merchants and Non Traditional Clients

Role

  • Support the implementation of the Managed Services strategy in Italy

  • Launch a variety of direct marketing campaigns to drive measurable customer behavior such as acquisition, activation, and usage through different channels

  • Campaign management & delivery - plan deliver the end-to-end execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns as well as tracking and measuring results

  • Manage direct marketing agencies from briefing to execution, driving measurable results and cost efficiencies

  • Media planning, channels management and deployment - Media management as well as ATL & BTL planning and implementation. Well-versed in fully-integrated Omni-channel planning, development and implementation.

  • Digital marketing – experienced and well-versed in end-to-end digital marketing which includes analytical review of media strategies and plans and working with partners to propose successful results-driven digital marketing strategies. Ability to hone in on trends and insights and propose innovative and strategic digital marketing solutions that drive value and results. Able to influence, drive and deliver the digital marketing agenda internally and with partners across all key marketing strategies and initiatives to achieve key business objectives and strong returns of marketing investments.

  • Analytics & portfolio management - leveraging, interpreting and analyzing data and insights to plan and implement marketing initiatives

  • Develop new solutions and supporting sales materials, particularly digital solutions

  • Partner with MasterCard Worldwide Marketing team to create solutions which leverage Priceless Assets

  • Support Market lead with supplier management and project documentation

  • Extract and apply best practices across Europe region and globally, identifying opportunities to both import and export best practices and solutions

  • Based in Italy, Rome

All About You

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred

  • Marketing or marketing consulting experience.

  • Experience working for or managing third-party agency programs, experience in Consultancy is a plus

  • Experience at driving results oriented marketing campaigns at financial institutions and/or telecommunications firms

  • Direct marketing experience with acquiring new customers and /or lifecycle marketing required

  • Experience in two or more of the following channels required: direct mail, digital and event marketing

  • Contract negotiation and agency management

  • Application of analytics and metrics to drive marketing campaigns

  • Contract negotiation and agency management

  • Excellent PowerPoint skills; excellent oral and written presentation skills

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Willingness to travel within Italy for project delivery

  • Fluent Italian and English required; additional languages a plus
