Process Lead Roles and Responsibilities

The Business Operations Process Lead amplifies the practices of the guild. This role specializes in developing and analyzing processes and workflows with the objective of identifying and developing strategies for how processes can be implemented, improved, or automated. This involves meetings with key stakeholder to determine goals, gathering and analyzing data and process mapping, and leading teams through execution based on recommendations.

Summary for R&R

• Develop and implement standards, processes, documentation and workflows for new and existing processes, guidelines, knowledge articles and self-service guidance for the Business Operations organization.

• Coordinate with Program stakeholders and management in integrating business processes throughout the organization.

• Collect and document business requirements for project and process improvement/automation efforts

• Perform and facilitate process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases.

• Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired results and that services are meeting agreed upon service levels or evaluate the efficacy of processes through data analysis with the goal of identifying/implementing improvements.

• Conduct maturity assessments against process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns and identify/implement improvements.

• Identifying any issues and risks; bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management

• Drive and/or participate in the problem resolution process across the organization.

• Create reports and provide a high-level analysis of data for review.

• Maintain a complete understanding of and adherence to all policies and processes within Business Operations.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency; leaving our world a better place.

• Provide guidance and training as needed across the Business Operations Program teams.

o Overall Data Analysis + Metrics, such as ALM, Pulse, Workday, Remedy

o Divisional Risk Officer (DRO) review preparation and coordination

o Progress Reporting for new Operational Readiness Process rollouts (e.g. Access Framework)

o Other ITSM data quality Adhoc requests.

o Governance of ITSM and Safety and Soundness efforts.

• Process Lead and Protect Lead / BizOps Program Champs Partnership(s)

o Partnering with protect leads to work with horizontals, such as Development teams, SPM, Tech Ops, Corp Sec – etc. etc.

o A process lead should be the escalation point when needed within their respective team.

o Provide knowledge sharing, such as;

 O&T Policy

 Pulse

 Domo Dashboards

 ALM

 Yearly Objectives

 Program Metrics

 Etc., etc.

o Determine and facilitate internal and external communication to their respective organizations, such as;

 BizOps Guild Enablement email (ie: Christina B)

 2021 Objectives

 BizOps Domo Dashboard

 Vulnerability Management

 Certificate Management

 BizOps ALM

 DRO guidelines plus any risk & compliance efforts from, Don, Castofa, Jennifer Buckner or Abby H.

 Program details, such as Domo Reports outside of BizOps, 2021 metrics.

 ALM Tool change details received from Randy or Lance
