Vice President, Product Specialist - North America Digital Payments & Labs


Position requires results driven individual with strategic customer engagement management expertise to lead a high performance product team with primary focus on Digital Payments and Labs. The individual and team will be responsible and accountable for embedding Digital Payment and Labs products and platforms into our customer strategies and execution plans.

In this role, the individual will work closely with Regional and Global Product Leads, Account Leads, and other internal business partners to identify solutions to drive value and revenue for MasterCard and Customers. This person will need to have good executive presence and influence both internally and externally. They will be required to use the entire range of company products and services (Digital Payments and labs) to construct the proposition that best meet the needs of our clients and meets the interests of MasterCard. To do this, this person needs to establish the strategic goals we need to drive to take advantage of the capabilities, scale and reach of these issuers and embed MasterCard into their business. This person will also need to be a proactive thought leader on everything happening in digital, including trends and partnerships that touch digital. This role will also be accountable for continuing to embed innovation and our labs culture into NAM overall and with our customers. Lastly, this role requires strong people management skills, as this individual will lead a team of customer-facing product people who serve to deepen customer relationships utilizing with product expertise, strategic and technical solutioning, as well as creating a roadmap the digital future or our customers with Mastercard.

The Vice President of the NAM DP&L product specialists, will report to the NAM EVP of DP&L.


Lead product specialist team to support all segments of our customer across issuer segments, Digital Partners and Merchant segments.

Development and execution of strategic DP&L roadmap for all segments.

Responsible for coordination, development, and delivery of customer and account team materials.

Communication and coordination with product development organization to represent the voice of the customer and highlight product innovation opportunities

Communication and coordination with account teams to represent the voice of Product This is a customer-facing role which requires exceptional strategic selling, relationship management and business development skills along with the ability to quantify opportunities, develop concepts and deliver solutions

Drive the IT, Innovation and Digital Payments strategic alignment between our NAM customer segments and MasterCard. Succinctly provide feedback and prioritization with business justification to global product.

Clear understanding of customer€™s technical systems architecture and platforms as well as innovation plans, while identifying business opportunities. Enhancements and cost efficiencies to be achieved through synergies with MasterCard€™s technology, services and platforms.

Design and implement end-customer focused solutions and programs.

Lead, implement and execute, when needed, on high complexity projects

Maintain management reporting and provide continual and timely updates and education to the broader team on individual activity

Understand the digital payment space understand new payment industry challenges, players and opportunities and ability to execute and propose an strategy, and attentive to details

Understand the fundamentals of the MA business

Demonstrate a winning/positive attitude

Be a strong leader focused on their people€™s development, with an entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility in regards to deliverables

All About You


MasterCard or Payments experience a necessity

Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business management or


Self-starter, able to identify and direct sales activities to achieve objectives

Uses understanding of marketplace and market research to anticipate how MasterCard products and solutions may help drive customer€™s business

Presentation and proposal skills

Ability to work in complex and changing environment

Strategic planning and problem resolution


Purchase, NY or NYC office preferred

40% domestic overnight travel
