Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the technology-focused function within the Operational Insights Global Product Management team. This person will lead a team of product managers and oversee key activities including execution of the product strategy, management of the roadmap, shaping the product platform architecture and the creation of technical requirements.

This individual will partner closely with other members of the Global Product Management team to develop the product strategy and ensure product priorities are well-aligned with commercial objectives. This individual will also be the key collaborator with the Platform team to shape the long term technical vision for the product and ensure efficient development execution.

• Set product direction with coordination, not isolation—taking into account how our products all work together to serve customer needs

Role

• Manage a group of Product Managers and Designers through the product development lifecycle

• Prioritize development efforts as they align against product strategy

• Guide major product investment decisions and represent progress against product goals and development to business leaders and key stakeholders

• Manage the design and execution of user research, including customer interviews, in order to deepen the teams understanding of customers’ pain points, motivations and opportunities

• Partner with commercially-focused Product Management function to set and achieve a product vision and to ensure consistent alignment between business priorities and development objectives

• Partner with technology team to shape platform architecture and technical roadmap

• Oversee timely and high-quality execution of creation of technical requirements

• Build strong working relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders to achieve product goals

• Mentor, develop, and foster the skills and career path for a team of junior product managers

• Demonstrate end-to-end ownership over product launches to ensure delivery of user and business value

• Lead efforts to shape product management process and foster an agile, user-focused, product-led culture

All About You

• Agile product management experience in analytical products and business intelligence solutions

• Experience in managing analytical solutions designed for payments or a related financial services sectors preferred

• Hands on analytical experience preferred

• Strong focus on delivering user and business value

• Experience designing, executing and distilling user research to drive value for the customer, an outstanding user experience and stickiness

• Keen understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends in the self-service analytics space, and the ability to translate this understanding into meaningful actions and product enhancements

• Proven track record collaborating in cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding products and features

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interface with internal and client senior leadership

• Highly organized and able to deal with multiple and competing priorities

• Experience managing and motivating a high performing team comprised of individuals with business and technical skill sets

• Knowledge and skills using product management tools, (e.g. market and product plans, project timelines, marketing research, pricing, business case development)

• Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant experience; advanced degree a plus

• Experience in the payments industry a plus

• Technical background (e.g. Computer Science or related field) a plus
