Senior Vice President, Open Banking - North America

Overview

Open Banking and Finicity strategy is the corner stone of our multi rail strategy. Over 80% of revenue goals are tied to NAM which in turn is approx. 230MM$ over the course of the next 8 years. Not only is the success of the acquisition of Finicity important for our business case and revenue, the build out and expansion of open banking is the core to our success in NAM in diversifying our Debit revenue and strategy that has been stagnant for over 10 years.

The success requires a senior level role to lead the entire go to market strategy for open banking, finicity and crypto. This role will have a team reporting to the function that will consist of existing employees and new hires to drive our strategy forward. The key responsibilities are:

Role/Responsibilities

• Define a fully comprehensive Go To Market strategy for NAM for both open banking and Crypto

• Define a sales strategy that is segment driven to drive revenue goals and partner with Account leads to support in sales functions and solution customer needs

• Manage executive relationships with TCH and Zelle to manage current partnerships but to also expand product strategy to help define a common goals and partnership model to drive strategic areas like – Openbanking, Bill pay x and others

• Analyze market needs and partner with global to define a product and design road map for NAM specific needs to deliver on synergies and product needs

• Partner with global and corporate to identify and lead key M&A activity to drive growth in NAM business specific to Open banking

• Credible thought leader to work alongside key customers in building out their payments and retail bank strategies

• High degree of flexibility, adapts quickly in a dynamic environment

• Expert understanding of customer’s evolving strategic needs, the current and potential future market environment, and MasterCard’s products and services and how they operate within the local market environment and interact within the larger value chain

• Knowledge of emerging FinTech trends preferred

• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
