Senior UX Designer
Senior User Experience Designer (Senior Analyst, User Experience) of Mastercard Data and Service is responsible for delivering design solutions and artifacts for various digital products associated with data and services through the Design Thinking process and agile execution. Sr. UX designer works closely with product managers, developers, researchers, data scientists/modelers, data analysts, SMEs of various domains such as FI, retail, marketing, consulting, etc. while bringing a strongly point of view on delivering innovation and optimal product experiences to our customers.

Carry out assignments with minimal supervision
Participate in initiative-level sessions and Design Thinking activities with stakeholders, SME, and fellow designers, contribute to design production and research studies, and participate in product experience design workshops
Select and conduct appropriate user-centered design techniques throughout an iterative design process
Implement design decisions on initiatives, heavily influenced by research findings
Leverage design best practices and patterns when feasible; proposing and codifying new patterns when appropriate
Produce, test, and iterate on experience artifacts, including user flows, interaction models, prototypes, wireframes, low/high fidelity sketches, and design specifications
Study and adopt the design system to deliver digital product fully aligned with Mastercard’s design standard
Relevant professional experience
Digital product design experience
Experience in Design Thinking/ human-centered design
Experience in design research and usability
Experience in UX design from concept to launch
Demonstrated experience in leading large–small experienced design projects while leading and mentoring junior designers
Proven ability to translate vision and user feedback into actionable design
Ability to follow a design system, a clean design aesthetic and the ability to simplify the complex
Strong command of usability and design techniques such as: usability testing, heuristic evaluation, paper prototyping, wire-framing, storyboarding, sitemap creation and card sorting
Ability to conduct focus groups, design sessions, task analyses, surveys and online testing is highly desirable
Education: a bachelor degree or equivalent combination of experience and formal education. Specialized training/experience in User Experience Design, User Interface Design, Human factors, Usability, or Information Design strongly preferred
Ability to travel: anticipated to be less than 20%
Design experience in developing products for consumer loyalty and engagement
Product design experience in the payment, banking, or FinTech domains
Experience in (and appreciation for) rapid prototyping and Lean UX
Passion for working in a global, highly diverse, multicultural working environment
