Senior Analyst, HR Business Analytics - Talent Acquisition/People Analytics (Remote USA)
The Senior Analyst, People Analytics will be a member of the Workforce Analytics & Innovation team which operates across multiple Regions & time zones.
This individual will bring experience in people analytics, the HR functional domain, and project management to drive highly visible global HR initiatives that help Mastercard make data-driven decisions about our talent. You will have responsibility for consulting with Global Talent Acquisition to understand their unique challenges and provide strategic decision support through data and analytics. You will collaborate closely with people data management teams to automate data pipelines and productionalize analytics that surface insights in an effective, efficient, repeatable, and scalable manner. Competitive candidates will be detail-oriented and execution-focused.
o Partners closely with business leaders to provide strategic decision support through data and analytics
o This role will be part of the Workforce Analytics & Innovation team, providing support for the People & Capability function
o Applies knowledge in quantitative and qualitative analysis as well as data visualization to surface clear and compelling narratives that inform people strategies
o Influences the development of actionable KPIs that drive business decisions and inform executive management and other key constituents
o Sees beyond requestors’ asks to understand the root query or challenge for which data and analytics are being sought
o Defines, validates, and enforces HR data integrity in collaboration with HR systems teams
o Provides analytics support for performance management, talent reviews, and other key activities as warranted
o Collaborates with data engineering and visualization resources to access and manipulate data, explain data requirements, and surface findings via cutting-edge visualizations and dashboards
o Demonstrates exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data

o Experience providing innovative analytical solutions that have lasting impact in multiple dimensions; strategic, operational, or financial
o Ability to translate results of analyses into data-driven insights to ensure key messages resonate with the target audience
o Ability to collaborate with peers and cross functional teams, working across multiple time zones
o Creative and nimble with ability to overcome obstacles to solve hard problems
o Flexible and responsive, with ability to adapt to rapid change in direction or business priority
o Openness to feedback and strong self-awareness
o Ability to work within the confines of data governance and privacy standards
o End-to-end problem-solving and communication abilities: diagnosis, data cleaning, integration and transformation, analysis, visualization, and presentation
o Experience extracting or manipulating data (SQL, VBA, R, or Python)
o Experience in HR data (Workday preferred)
o Experience in BI tools (Tableau or Power BI preferred)
o Possesses a commensurate level of experience in relationship building across large scale organizations
