Job Description Summary


As a Product Manager you will lead on strategy, planning, delivery and in life optimisation of the products.

• To be successful you will need to understand our customers and their journeys.

• You will be responsible for the business management of the product and its commercial success.


• Core Areas are Alternate and New Payment Methods, Payment Gateways & Product Development.

• Generate new and innovative product solutions that support organizational or product/segment strategy.

• Own the Mastercard Studio processes within A&NPMs, taking products from initial conceptual visions to commercialisation.

• Own the definition and delivery of strategic initiatives that articulate the product requirements and technical solutions that are required to enable a critical capability, and impact the global gateway product

• Identify and consolidate development needs from regional/customer facing product management teams

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish product directives and initiatives.

• Performs assigned tasks in the product development life cycle, monitor project roadmaps for specific development projects, and supports budget management.

• Support the Product Owner and Product Marketer with any questions they may have

• Ensure that feedback and requests are integrated into the product planning and development processes.

• You communicate the status of ideas back to your customers, partners, and internal teammates who submitted them.

• Has the ability to prioritize features by ranking them against the strategic goals and initiatives. You can make difficult trade-off decisions based on the value a new feature will deliver to your customers and the business.

• You are also responsible for defining feature requirements and the desired user experience. You work closely with engineering and ensure that teams have all of the information they need to deliver a complete product to market.

• Supports internal teams during pilot product launches and in business awareness sessions/trainings.

• Provides technical expertise and guidance to customers including technical support

• Monitors the efficiency of development and implementation processes and contributes to continuous improvement efforts.

All About You

• Has in-depth knowledge of the payment domain, acquiring & gateway business, alternative payment channels & browser payment methods.

• Has a strong background in product management with ability to conceptualize innovative product features by drawing insights from competitor market data to develop what works best for the product and for customers, while ensuring quality of the solution.

• Has a sound understanding of Gateway platform capabilities and limitations.

• Is a self-starter and is able to plan the execution of a new idea throughout the product development life cycle.

• Has experience in working in an Agile development environment, SAFe expertise as a big plus.

• Knowledge of ALM and A-HA a plus.

• Has the right attitude to be a team player and experience in successfully managing multiple stakeholders across various levels in organsiations.
