Overview

Are you interested in incubating new products and use cases, and leading the early stages of businesses which Mastercard is counting on to drive future strategic growth beyond card? Do you have what it takes to be an entrepreneur inside a large organization?

New Payment Flows is an entrepreneurial team in North America (NAM) set out to develop breakthrough business opportunities/revenue flow and bring them to market. Our focus is business payments – an area which is ripe for disruption and modernization, valued at $25 trillion in NAM alone and the ideal opportunity to capitalize on both our Vocalink acquisition and the U.S. shift to real-time payments. Because our mandate is so unique and innovative, our team scope is broad and touches every stage of the early product journey – including customer needs identification, business case development, product strategy, product development, go-to-market planning/execution, and sales/sales enablement.

Role

The Manager, Innovation Management will shape and support all aspects of the product, from vision and roadmap, to functional and technical requirements for pilot and MVP builds for new multi-rail payments solution. Our focus is on solutions that digitize business payments, unlock working capital, automate processes, and reduce friction in global commerce. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Mastercard product and services teams to leverage existing assets and with external partners and vendors to accelerate speed to market.

All About You

As part of a team whose remit is to come up with 2 new product concepts a year and help pave the way for the future of the Mastercard multi-rail payments strategy and Real-Time Payments business, this role requires an individual who is flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, and thrives on the innovation process. They should be an excellent communicator and influencer, an experienced manager and collaborator, have strong business acumen and technical aptitude, and be able to balance strategy and vision with a willingness to roll up their sleeves to execute.
