Manager, Cross Border Business Insights & Analytics
Cross Border Execution team is a center of excellence; championing cross border opportunities for Mastercard across our global footprint. We also advocate/manage select opportunities (or challenges) that require a global coordinated response.

This role is charged with providing thought leadership and analytical rigor for the cross border execution team.
Be on the forefront to identify opportunities (grow) and issues (defend) to our cross border business using MA's data resources to develop hypothesis, spot trends and anomalies
Seek out business problems/develop business hypothesis either from the data or utilize data to resolve/confirm
Provide data extracts in support of XB meetings - from standard data requirements to the anticipation and delivery of bespoke needs. Assist team with expanding best practice toolkit - identification, analysis, performance bench-marking, documentation
Support teams enablement efforts by partnering with global/regional resources providing ad hoc training support and technical (data analytics) support
Manage and deliver monthly reporting needs end-to-end (data extraction to publication and analysis/recommendations)
Be primary liaison between Cross Border and Integrated Analytics teams - providing feedback for enhancements, identifying data integrity issues, knowledge of IA developments/enhancements
Directly interface with global/regional/divisional teams
All About You
Experience in payments or baking industry preferred
Strong problem-solving skills, creatively develop & synthesize data insights
strong communications skills written, verbal and presentation
Highly organized with extensive attention to detail
Ability to package information into an effective presentation
Ability to spot data issues, search for/find solutions
Aptitude in displaying and communicating data analysis
High energy level; flexible, adaptive and inquisitive
Experience with large data sets
Knowledge/exposure to payments and alternate payment industry strongly encouraged
Proficiency with SQL/Oracle a plus
Experience with data appliances (Netezza), a plus
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau a plus
Self-starter, able to manage projects and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
