Director of Acceptance Quality, Product Management, Global Acceptance & Solutions
The Global Acceptance and Solutions team (GA&S) is responsible for ensuring merchants of all sizes continue to play an essential role in the payments ecosystem and in the success of Mastercard. The team works with various internal Mastercard teams to help Mastercard gain preference, win deals and bring added value to the relationships with merchants. Within GA&S, the Product Management team is integral to the growth of Acceptance and is focused on delivering and scaling new experiences with consumers and merchants using EMVCo standards. Product Management is also responsible for the overall strategy, sales enablement and product roadmaps.

The Director of Acceptance Quality will be responsible for growing Acceptance and Cardholder usage of our payment solutions through the development of a global strategic quality plan and best-practices management. This position plays an essential role in delivering a high quality and consistent Cardholder payment experience globally across all of our technologies including EMV-Chip, contactless and QR payments and ensuring that regions are leveraging global learnings to drive scale. This Director will define the optimal transaction flow across payment types and partner cross-functionally to launch global improvement programs. The Director will develop and manage product Quality KPIs and competitive benchmarking. The Director will also be responsible for aligning Acceptance best practices and driving those globally.
• Define product standards, SLAs and requirements needed to deliver the optimal checkout experience and to address quality issues
• Partner with Regions, Franchise and Quality Assurance teams to understand, measure and prioritize Acceptance quality issues
• Develop and champion Acceptance Quality programs in partnership with Franchise, ESS and the Regional leads to drive ecosystem behavior including compliance, incentive, monitoring and employee awareness initiatives
• Define and set target for Acceptance Quality KPIs; Actively monitor metrics to identify pipeline of improvement projects and product enhancements
• Rollout continuous improvement initiatives and product adjustments
• Ensure consistent quality approaches are applied to new product and technology launches
• Develop Acceptance best practices and competitive benchmarking; Institute mechanism for best practice sharing with partners on an ongoing basis to ensure GA&S strategies are integrated and aligned

Excellent communication (written and verbal skills) with ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate across audience levels
Excellent project management skills – proven ability to launch and manage large, cross-functional initiatives
Ability to partner with and influence critical stakeholders including Platforms, O&T, CIS, Product Delivery and Franchise
Acquiring and Merchant payments experience
Proficiency working with technical concepts and partners; Product development or customer implementation experience a plus
Experience in process improvement and optimization
