Director, Merchant Loyalty and Partnerships

Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Merchant Loyalty and Partnerships Director to support the acceleration of our GTM for key strategic initiatives including our Card Linked Services business. As a global specialist you will lead enterprise wide activities, to ensure the business is successfully scaled for long term value.

Card Linked Services is a high growth sub section of the digital advertising market and presents a huge strategic opportunity for Mastercard to drive value for merchants, issuers and cardholders. The incumbent will support the Go to Market for Mastercard Card Linked Services (CLS) in line with the strategy and expansion plans.

Key objectives include ongoing strategy evolution, driving execution and implementation across regions, value chain extension through leveraging Data and Services capabilities, meeting revenue targets and ensuring longer term program relevance through innovation.

Card Linked Services enables merchants to acquire new customers, cross sell to existing customers, drive sales and win-back lapsed customers at a high return on investment. The services can be stand alone or delivered in partnership with financial institutions, non-financial institutions and other third party providers.

Role

Lead Go to Market plans and drive regional execution in collaboration with product, services & platform teams and regional Merchant Loyalty teams

Align with regional Merchant Loyalty leads to drive strategic and revenue goals

Work closely with Product, Service and Platform teams to identify and prioritize product enhancements based on market feedback and customer needs

Identify product value chain extensions and monetization initiatives working closely with data and services - including analytics, reporting and campaign management

Develop plan and deploy marketing and sales support material to appropriately position our capabilities and solutions to merchants and issuers , and enable GTM through sales and business development teams

Support the development and management of sales enablement initiatives including foundational sales material, internal and external communications, and support sales pipeline management globally

Develop and launch new use cases for non-Financial Institutions, including merchants, digital giants, Issuers and loyalty aggregators

Work closely with Data & Services to create bundled solutions to extend the value chain and create new monetization opportunities.

Deliver case studies and proof point creation to effectively capture the value equation for all stake holders

Support , develop and manage sales enablement, foundational sales material & sales pipeline globally for CLS including use cases development across different categories of stake holders from merchant aggregators to digital giants

Identify opportunities for new product development and enhancement to meet client needs for CLS.

All About You

String Strategic thinking and execution skills

Strong product and sales expertise with excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills combined with ability to effectively communicate to many audiences, from technical resources to client marketing leads

Experience of having worked in Digital media and digital marketing , digital giants will be an added advantage

Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

Ability to collaborate across functions and geography

The ideal candidate must be an entrepreneurial team player focused on delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving

Post Graduate / MBA with previous work experience

Competency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PPT
