Director, Mastercard Send Product Management - Real Time Payments
Mastercard Send is a key component in establishing Mastercard as a global leader in Push Payments. Mastercard Send facilitates the secure delivery of funds between senders and receivers, typically within seconds. Through a single connection to Mastercard Send, businesses, merchants, governments, humanitarian organizations, financial institutions and others can send money to consumers and small businesses domestically and cross border. The service supports multiple use cases, e.g., person-to-person, business to business, disbursements, remittances and merchant payments. With our technology and expertise, we are making sending money safe, simple and fast.
The Director, Mastercard Send Product Management, will be responsible for managing the product strategy and implementation plans working with cross functional teams to define go to market for the Mastercard Send Full Service Product. The Director will also work on bundling all Mastercard Assets to create a substantiated differentiation in the product line, offering securing competitive advantage with key stakeholders like FIs and Processors.

Champion and advance the domestic push payments Full Service product agenda to green light as many markets as possible, mapping demand and revenue across markets.
Work closely with cross functional teams, including Platforms, Account Teams, and Regions, to develop new GTM strategies and capabilities to secure competitive advantage with FIs and other players in the market. Opportunities include leveraging Directory Services and new partnership models in order to secure a market play role for MasterCard.
Establish revenue targets and execution plans in partnership with the regions to grow revenues beyond core network transactions through a mix of near term commercial activities and longer term strategic/product differentiation strategies.
Oversee development efforts to integrate with new networks, including card networks and non-card networks.
Evaluate and pursue opportunities to integrate with Vocalink/ACH assets in order to optimize the revenue mix to Mastercard.
Evaluate other Mastercard Gateway assets, e.g., MPGS for synergies and determine optimal integration and GTM approach in order to provide a more holistic solution that can compete with other full service providers in the market.
Assist in evaluating new payment flows, e.g., B2B, along with supporting product constructs integrating other Mastercard Assets that can be bundled.
Bring voice of the market and help identify product innovation opportunities to ensure customer needs are met, and product development is aligned with market requirements.
Educate internal stakeholders, including Sales and Account Management teams, Regional Product, and Product Delivery, on key features and capabilities of Mastercard Send and serve as product champion.
Reports to Vice President, Mastercard Send Product Management.
All About You:
Prior experience in the push payment space is desired with passion for deep domain expertise.
Demonstrated experience in product management, with an emphasis on bringing new payment products/ solutions to market regionally or globally.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to apply these in developing business cases and defining and executing GTM plans.
Client-facing experience preferred, with ability to process and translate customer needs into business opportunities.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong, productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
Demonstrated track record of championing cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives and driving initiatives to the desired outcome.
Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into clear, actionable goals and metrics.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, establish priorities and self-motivate.
Superior communication and presentation skills.
Bachelors degree in business, finance or related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
