Director, Learning & Development


• The Learning & Development function is responsible for building employee capability related to professional skills and functional skills.

• We provide a framework and infrastructure, as well as tools and resources, to support employee career development. We create a learning environment that enhances collaboration, and leverages technology, to provide continuous access to learning.

• The Director, Learning & Development role is accountable for program design, development and initial implementation for select learning & development initiatives

• Learning programs/products include employee training and development (i.e. building management capabilities/expertise, functional capabilities, strategic capabilities, etc.)

• Accountable for the end-to-end design and execution and performance of approved programs for a designated BU/Function or domain and ensures delivery of high quality programs

• Designs, develops and curates programs and responsible for work stream planning, identifying dependencies, critical path items and managing risks

• Identifies specific training needs for a BU/Function and partners with Global Learning Consultants, Regional/BU Talent Consultants, Regional Talent/Local HR Teams, Business SMEs, Alternative Learning Channels Team and LMS Administrators to customize and localize learning programs

• Manages multiple vendor relationships to ensure quality program delivery

• Evaluates and advises on vendors, technological tools, communication platforms, and learning modalities that are appropriate for identified participant population preferences, business unit needs, budget and other resource requirements

• Acts as the point of contact and supervisor for program questions and issues

• Consults on the outcomes of talent development programs and solutions, including focusing on practical design and delivery options, capacity planning and management factors, participant engagement strategies, and consumer experience and outcome metrics

All About You

• Experience managing day-to-day learning & development program design, implementation and communications

• Experience consulting with internal stakeholders regarding learning & development program/product offerings

Experience identifying talent needs and designing programs/products in accordance with related business units/markets utilizing multiple learning delivery channels

• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of market and internal best-practices around designing and delivering learning programs

The job holder will own the Sales Excellence Product Knowledge Certification program as well as lead learning support for the Sales Excellence tools and systems such as, Ironclad, Seismic, Account Planning etc.
