Analyst, Meeting & Travel Services

Overview

Responsibilities

Researches information on destinations, hotels, suppliers, venues, etc.

Creates first draft of presentation of venues for management review

Actively participates in operational turnover and internal meetings to capture pertinent meeting information including decision points, timelines and reporting needs

Utilizes department process management tools and technology for the purpose of budget management, project management, contract negotiations, legal, department record keeping and presentation preparation

Supports on-site logistics domestically and internationally for Board and CEO level meetings

Responsible for ground transportation logistics for Board meetings

Recommends fields to be included on meeting websites prior to turnover for web-building and performs quality control check on website prior to going live

Creates first draft of meeting and events menus against itinerary and working agenda

Produces name badges, labels, tent cards, etc.

Entering names into MC Visitor Database

Entering client names into ViVo Database as necessary

Experience

Proven organizational skills

Ability to work in an accurate and timely manner

Agile with ability to adapt well to change

Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of management

Basic experience within the meetings, events and/or hospitality industry
