Mastercard is recruiting talented individuals for a full time role in Account Management in the Cobrand, Prepaid Commercial card segment within North America. The role focuses on the sale and delivery of Mastercard products and services to several key (largely Cobrand) issuing banks.

We are seeking experienced professionals with management consulting, technology sales, banking and/or payments experience that can bring a technical aptitude to strategic problem-solving to address customer challenges and opportunities and drive increased sales for Mastercard.

Role:

As an Analyst on the Account Management team, you will:

Co-manage relationships with 2-4 banks nationally to achieve specific market share, volume, and revenue growth goals. Much but not all of the role will be focused on key portfolios within the Cobrand segment.

Work closely with a large diverse team to achieve revenue targets and increase market share within your assigned customers.

Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, actively manage a sales pipeline and oversee the delivery and usage of integrated solutions purchased by your customers.

Lead efforts to develop Quarterly Business Reviews to deliver market insights, probe customer pain points, and identify Mastercard products and services that can be deployed to drive joint Mastercard and customer goals.

Track and monitor existing contracts, including incentive payments to customers and the consumption of contract assets. Monitor customer account plans to ensure they are current and accurate.

Identify opportunities that can be leveraged across all accounts on the team; share best practices within the team where applicable; strive for cross-account efficiencies and knowledge exchange that can benefit the full team.

We are seeking candidates who can:

Develop and manage strategic sales plans that best support customer needs while meeting Mastercard's business objectives.

Develop strong customer relationships across levels and functions (particularly product, fraud, marketing, operations, strategy and information technology) and influence or change customer preference towards Mastercard as a strategic partner and solution provider.

Understand business and market dynamics, Mastercard€™s product and service specifications and applications, and your customers€™ strategies and needs in order to identify opportunities and design tailored solutions which meet the customer€™s needs.

Initiate high-level, interactive business conversations with key decision makers around new or emerging issuing opportunities with focus on bringing new revenue to Mastercard. Provide consultative industry and Mastercard insights.

Converse and provide insightful viewpoints on Mastercard platforms, products and services, explain to customers how they can leverage Mastercard€™s offerings for their own business needs and communicate complex technological concepts with clarity and conviction.

Keep pace with cutting edge technology trends and events that impact Mastercard€™s platforms, products and services, visualize the €œbig picture€ and understand the interdependencies between related inputs and their implications on current and future business goals/outcomes.

Education Needed:

Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred
