Overview

Presentation Enablement group within Mastercard is building a “Digital Experience Platform” that augments Mastercard’s strategy and roadmap for building sites and applications across multiple channels like web, mobile, IoT, etc. Mastercard is looking for a strong professional to be part of this exciting journey

Role

An experienced UX designer, who will be responsible for leading the design process, establish a strong working backward process from the customer, raise the bar for design deliverables, collaborate with all the involved teams including product, engineering, marketing, customer growth, etc. collect and utilize customer insights to make product decisions, help define the long term vision and strategy from the product and design perspective.

In this role, you should be both analytical and creative, able to grasp user needs and solve problems. A strong portfolio of successful projects is essential. Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly and intuitive, in order to attract and retain customers.

Responsibilities:-

l  Planning and delivering UX designs while working closely with cross-functional teams.

l  Own End-to-End UX process based on existing product vision and business requirements.

l  Translate business and user requirements into highly effective design solutions.

l  Lead design efforts in a fast-paced agile environment.

l  Perform market and user research, including contextual inquiry, product feedback, data analysis, or competitive research.

l  Collaborate with cross-functional project teams which will include user researchers, UI designers, product managers, business stakeholders, and engineers to produce and enhance low-fidelity sketches, medium fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, user flow diagrams, and final UX specifications.

l  Communicate design strategy and rationale to stakeholders.

l  Use user-centered design process and rapidly test and iterate your designs.

l  Work directly with other designers to envision and iterate the concept.

l  Conduct concept and usability testing as well as gather feedback.

l  Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success.

l  Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability). Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.

Requirements:-

l  Master of Design or Bachelor of Design degree in a related discipline from Tier 1 or good premier institutes i.e. NID Ahmedabad & Bangalore, NIFT, IIT- School of Design etc. with 6+ years' experience in product/UX design solutions based in completely digital environments with lead role and working on B2C or Customer facing applications for Mobile & Web based applications.

l  Solid grasp of information architecture, interaction design, information design, and usability testing.

l  A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.

l  Expertise in UX software and strong understanding of development technologies.

l  Ability to work with users to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.

l  Solid design background with an keen eye for quality and details.

l  Expertise with XD, Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, and related tools. Experience with prototyping tools (InVision, Flinto, Framer, Processing, Unity, etc. ).

Relevant Experience Profile:-

l  Experience on team handling in design department for UX / UI.

l  Working experience on B2B or Customer Facing applications for Mobile & Web based applications.

l  Worked as Lead for design projects.

l  Education background (Master OR Bachelor of Designs) from Tier 1 or Good Design Institutes.

l  Preferably from BFSI & Fintech industry.
