Senior Engineer, Biz Ops
The PTS - Central BizOps team is looking for a Continuous Integration Senior Engineer specializing in migration of Mainframe application code. The purpose of our team is to build and deploy new functions for this application (which issues and maintains card products on behalf of MasterCard PTS Central customers) via continuous integration methods and technologies.

Business Operations is leading the DevOps transformation at Mastercard through our tooling and by being an advocate for change & standards throughout the development, quality, release, and product organizations. We need team members with an appetite for change and pushing the boundaries of what can be done with automation. Experience in working across development, operations, and product teams to prioritize needs and to build relationships is a must.
The CAMS application is a card management and processing platform from CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation) and is the core processing engine for PTS. CAMS runs in the High-Availability (HA) Mainframe environment (SysPlex) and processes all aspects of customer, account and card processing including setup and maintenance, plastic embossing, product configuration, prepaid authorizations, etc. for MasterCard IPS customers.
Perform change management and code migration / implementation for large, mission-critical systems in a High Availability (HA), zero downtime environment.
You will work closely with application development and Release Management teams to further promote end-to-end automation of entire deployment life cycles
Extensive use of mainframe Source Code Management (SCM) tool CA Endeavor to migrate large-scale code changes into a complex operating environment with no customer impact.
Extensive experience with Mainframe batch processing including JCL and job scheduling.
Knowledge of IBM Mainframe environment including z/OS (MVS), SysPlex, CICS, DB2, UNIX System Services (USS) and WebSphere for hosting Web Services.
Provide support of the CSC application architecture component ( Umbrella System ) with proven experience with its change management, release management and UMBPLEX components.
Provide collaborative support of the CAMS application with the MasterCard Mainframe Technical Support team for IBM Mainframe infrastructure components such as z/OS, CICS, DB2 as well third party vendor products such as ACF2, Endeavor, File-Aid, etc.
Leverage personal experience in maintaining and improving the stability & reliability of a High Availability environment
All About You
BS Degree in Computer Science
Able to work independently; a self-starter.
Have a systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and a sense of ownership and drive.
Ability to multi task workload in a fast pace dynamic environment.
Professionalism and a good work ethic are required.
Knowledge of Mastercards Processing Platform and application dependencies is a plus.
