QA Automation Engineer

The Global Customer Care team drives operational support resolution for Mastercard’s B2B & B2C customers and represents the customer internally to ensure our company provides the highest quality customer experiences.
The Simplify Commerce Team within the MPGS team provides Payment solutions for Acquirers and Merchants business across the globe.
The selected candidate will play a critical role in
Identifying opportunities for automation within software processes.
Working with business partners to gather requirements and following through with end-to-end deployment and Collaborating with them to understand how automation can improve workflow.
Designing and executing QA tests for such automation using BrowserStack
Identifying bugs and quality issues in development, UAT and production.
Partnering with Stakeholders to lead day-to-day software development efforts.
Creating and maintaining documentation for production support as well as business continuity and disaster recovery.
Ensuring adherence to the established software development process.
All about you:
• Automation development experience
• Experience in IT/Programming/Analytics consulting
• Experience in IT/Programming (Java), Analytics (Database, SQL)
• At least 3 years of experience in software development life cycle and engagements across strategy, design and implementation
• Practical knowledge of a programming language
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner with both technical and non-technical customers.
• Must be able to think strategically and act tactically
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
Desirable or additional capabilities:
A Good understanding of SQL knowledge is a preferred
Running the end-to-end tests using Jenkins Pipeline
