Manager, Product Owner


The SRC Merchant Onboarding and Registration Product Owner is responsible for defining and delivering features to build out and enhance Merchant/PSP Onboarding capabilities for Secure Remote Commerce (SRC). Primary focus will be on delivering self-service onboarding-related interfaces (Applications and APIs) and frictionless user-experience for Merchants, Payment Service Providers and internal related stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the Product Managers to understand product requirements and define the ‘what’ during product development

• Be a passionate advocate of the product vision and act as the voice of the customer throughout the development cycle

• Partner with the Architectural and Engineering teams to help define and elaborate epics and user stories

• Own the product backlog, drive Agile ceremonies with support from the Scrum Master

• Maintain visibility of the product backlog to stakeholders to ensure transparency

• Manage prioritisation of the product backlog to be continually aligned to business value

• Collaboratively ensure the product backlog is refined and ready for development

• Work to accept completed epics and stories according to the Definition of Done

• Create visual, engaging, and easy-to-use product collateral including product specifications, training materials, implementation guides, presentation slides, sales materials.

• Be a Subject Matter Expert on your product and act as knowledge broker to resolve blockers

All about you

• Proven expertise in developing, delivering & managing innovative portal and API-driven services.

• Strong technical competence in the area of e-commerce and payments

• Technical awareness of contactless, EMV and Magnetic stripe payment products

• Understanding of product development concepts and practices across the product development life cycle

• Strong communication skills, able to articulate clear written feature definitions, acceptance criteria and make compelling presentation

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience desirable

  • Payments industry and/or financial services experience strongly desirable
