Job Title

Director, Network Engineering (Next generation network)


Support all aspects of the Network deployment activities.


• Responsible for gathering, understanding, and analysis of business requirements for new connectivity in the data center or corporate office.

• Design, develop and deliver network solutions as part of the Mastercard offerings.

• Define requirements for new external customers while, adhering to internal standards, processes, and best practices.

• Design and develop networks which interface with external customers.

• Identify features or refinements that can improve an existing product and design.

• Responsible for testing, and quality assurance of the network to ensure that any new or modified components properly adhere to Mastercard’s standards.

• Responsible for utilizing highly technical skills to create documentation, including user guide and network implementation guides to be followed by all network professionals.

• Provide mentorship and technical support as needed to network colleagues.

About You

• Position requires a Master’s degree, in Computer Science, MBA, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or related technical field, and three (3) years of experience, in the job offered, as Engineer or related.

• Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience.

• Qualifying experience must include one (1) year of experience with each of the following: Routing and switching protocols; Cisco / HP / Aruba network switching, routing, WIFI, hardware and software; Unicast: OSPF, BGP, NAT, IPSEC and GRE; Switching: CDP/LLDP, QOS. HSRP/VRRP, VLAN/VXLAN.
