Director - Governance/Risk/Compliance
Job Description Summary
MasterCard is a Global Technology Innovation company in the Fintech space. This position will be placed in the Corporate Security department and the functional group is Governance, Risk & Compliance.
Director for GRC is responsible for:
Corporate Security Governance/Risk/Compliance with published standards and applicable regulatory obligations across all Mastercard technologies.
Position expects the candidate to effectively progress the deliverables on the security roadmap
Possess Strong communication skills to articulate security risks and areas for security control improvements.
Strong Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) to ensure implemented technologies are compliant
Maintain several GRC modules/applications within the Archer platform
Perform regulatory reviews with others on the GRC team
Technical skills to understand systems and platform functions
Participate in internal/external audit assessments and provide information and artifacts to fulfill audit expectations
Maintain and organize Controls/Policies/Procedures – ensure information is up-to-date and accurate

Computer Science background
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong writing skills
Good Grasp for technology and technical terminology
Aptitude for learning Technical skills such as network topology, Cloud Computing, Platforms etc
Positive and go getter attitude
Strong commitment levels from a results/solutions delivery perspective
Relationship building skills: outgoing and able to build a strong rapport with fellow team members, product owners and customers
Experience: 5-10 years with a focus on Governance/Risk/Compliance
Educational Qualification: Bachelors/Masters in Information Security or Computer Science or Equivalent
