Overview

Job Description

The Manager, Project Management is responsible for the effective and successful PMO support of a the product portfolio supporting multiple strategic/ multi- year/ multi scheme Mastercard Real Time Payment Infrastructure Initiatives. The role will be responsible for the following key activities and deliverables:

o Programme Management, internal and external Governance using industry leading practices and alignment with the Mastercard delivery Methods and Standards.

o Responsible for management, organization, reporting and support in operation of key governance mechanisms and forums across Mastercard internally. Forums include and are not limited to weekly Client Implementation working groups, internal and customer Operating Committees and internal Steering Committee forums.

o Working Groups are staffed with Mastercard SMEs and key contributors and the PMO lead will be required to support these workstreams at various stages of the programme cycles with PMO related activities.

o Responsible for plan management, automated reporting, risks and issues, assumptions, decision logs, action logs and dependency management

o Quarterly risk reviews internally

o Internal Mastercard dashboard reporting

o Collating and communicating lessons learnt

o Monthly Finance burn rate analysis, Programme forecasts input to Finance, regular meetings with Finance to provide programme input / updates. Creation of Purchase orders and receipting as necessary

o Resource Forecasts: Working with the programme teams to source resource forecasts and appropriately communicate to Finance

o Responsible for driving planning internally. Responsible for tracking changes to baseline dates in order to raise associated change requests and progress through relevant governance forums for sign off.

o Scheduling of external Stage Gates, Identification of external stage gates and criteria required for sign off. Liaison with PMO team members with regards to progress against stage gate deliverables that are in working group plans and analyse impact if delays are reported. Support in the preparation of materials for stage gates between Mastercard and the customer with regards to progress against stage gate deliverables that are in working group plans and analyse impact if delays are reported

All About you:

• 10+ years of experience in senior PMO roles

• Experience with real time payments, payments or financial services more generally

• Very strong stakeholder management skills

• Resourceful, with a proactive and problem solving nature

• Strong customer facing skills, with a track record in driving PMO activities for large transformational initiatives

• Attention to detail with the ability to look at the big picture and prioritise

• Experience in effectively leading successful teams and a track record of people management experience

• Strong collaboration and ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across the organization

• Demonstrated ability to build solid relationships with customers
