Mastercard Payment Services provides a leading ecosystem of account-to-account based services including clearing, electronic invoicing, bill-pay and instant payments services to banks, corporates and their customers. More than 90% of Danish and Norwegian households use these services to pay their bills and our real time solution “Real Time 24/7” is implemented in Norway, Denmark, Italy, Hungary and Slovenia.

You will be part of the NICS team in Mastercard Payment Services Infrastructure (MPSI). We are responsible for delivering NICS, NICS Real and several other payment services to the Norwegian financial sector. These services are important to the Norwegian society, and NICS and NICS Real are among the most critical services within the Norwegian payment services.

The NICS team works closely with our highly skilled tech department to deliver the excellent services and ensure that the solutions are operated with high security and stability.

As Senior Advicer

• You will work proactively with the customer and the Product Managers in the NICS team, to develop our solutions to fit future needs and requirements

• You should be able to describe technical challenges in a simple and understandable way, by visualizing solution suggestions and processes

• You will specify product requirements based on customer needs and requirements

• You are responsibile for ensuring that our services comply with customer and government requirements (compliance) within applicable laws and regulations

• You have strong relational skills and communicate well in writing and orally with both non-technical people and technical people (in Norwegian and English)

• You have clear opinions, at the same time as you have a strong ability to collaborate and find good solutions together with the team

It will be an advantage if you have

• Experience from the Norwegian payment sector, and competence about Norwegian clearing and payment solutions

• Experience with agile development methods

• Experience with working with business cases as well as writing customer offers and bids

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Higher education or several years of experience as product manager or equivalent in a modern product and technology company

• Experience with the development of systems that have high requirements for stability, security and privacy (GDPR)

• Experience with integrations with third parties

• Experience from the Norwegian payment industry, preferably regarding clearing/settlement and payment services

• Very good communication skills in Norwegian and English, written and oral

• Experience with project work, including requirements specification and test implementation

• Good technical and business understanding as well as analytical, structured and solution-oriented mindset
