Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us scale and operate priceless.com, the consumer and partner hub for Mastercard, providing exclusive access to benefits, offers, and unforgettable experiences for hundreds of millions of Mastercard cardholders. Our mission is make using a Mastercard something truly Priceless.

About the Role

As DevOps Engineer, you are a key player in expanding our global server infrastructure on AWS. You will apply your broad knowledge of Linux servers, automation, and AWS cloud technologies to build a scalable, reliable infrastructure that drives our growing business in a dynamic environment. We are looking for someone who is motivated, hands-on, and who will proactively seek ways to improve our system architecture and reliability.

All About You

• BS degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent

• Extensive experience with many of these technologies: Unix/Linux system administration, MySQL, PHP, AWS, Nginx, python, shell scripting, Node.js

• If you have worked on advanced MySQL multi master replication technologies that's definitely a big plus

• Ability to do hands-on scripting to automate server operations

• Ability to respond if problems happen, at any time

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to function well in a dynamic fast-paced environment

• The ability to partner with a diverse team of co-workers, to understand business needs, and develop solutions to meet those needs.
