VP – Product Management

Overview

Mastercard develops and delivers world-class risk, security products and services for its customers across the globe. As part of the North America Services organization, the Cyber & Intelligence Solutions team is focused on market management and commercialization of security and decision products that drive value and a better experience across the ecosystem.

In this role as the Vice President, Digital Asset Security, the candidate is responsible for developing, commercializing, and managing Digital Asset Security related products and services which Mastercard can offer customers across all related stakeholders. This role will work closely with both internal, external, private, and public sector parties to understand the needs and technology required to deliver applicable solutions.

Role:

We are looking for a top performer with entrepreneurial spirit and ambition to play a key role in scaling the future of these digital asset and crypto related products, working with exceptional colleagues around the globe.

The three primary areas of responsibility include: (1) Alignment and execution of business opportunities across the market (2) Market Management and Strategy and, (3) Go-To-Market planning and execution.

Responsible for the Digital Asset Security products in the Security & Cyber innovation domain in North America on all aspects including P&L, KPI’s, go-to-market strategy, including:

Identify and lead multi-product commercialization initiatives across all Mastercard customer segments, including establishing go-to-market approach and key performance indicators for products, setting objectives in partnership with regions, and driving commercial plans to ensure success

Develop and implement Digital Asset Security products go-to-market strategies across entire C&I product suite

Support sales and business development opportunities as the Digital Asset Security SME in North America

Create and drive a Thought Leadership agenda around Digital Asset innovation, including trends and threats to Mastercard customers across the entire digital ecosystem and broader financial sectors

Work with key stakeholders to influence product roadmaps

Deliver presentations, webinars, and tutorials to demonstrate value to all stakeholders and further the ambition and success of Cyber & Intelligence products and services

Translate stakeholder insights into differentiated value propositions for strategic segments and constantly evaluate the value creation process to drive world-class products

Be a subject matter expert, advocate, and champion for designated Digital Asset Security products to all stakeholders

Work with Mastercard teams to create a Digital Asset Security capability gap analysis with a focus on external customers

All About You:

A broad, cross-functional view of Digital Assets and varying degrees of expertise on strategy, processes, governance and enabling technologies

Demonstrated ability to act with a persistent and relentless sense of urgency

Ability to forge strong relationships, including both executive and functional levels

Demonstrated leadership capabilities to drive alignment across a matrixed organization and teams

Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to think strategically about complex issues, driving thoughtful recommendations and action plans

Cryptocurrency, Blockchain experience, either personally or professionally, required

Self-starter, highly organized, collaboration-minded and results driven

Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Some overnight travel required (20% - 30%)

Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree/MBA a plus)
