Individuals in this role will collaboratively work with all members of the credit card authorization software development team. These team members include contractors and employees in multiple global locations.

For Dual Message Authorization, plan & manage release performance testing and implementations into production environment.

Effectively communicate and collaborate with various internal and external MasterCard teams.

Provide leadership and oversight on various project / release deliverables of a complex nature. Responsible for planning, developing, and executing schedules to ensure timely completion of project / release deliverables deadlines and milestones.

Ensure methodology compliance and manage resolutions, reporting to management when necessary.

Ensure timely and accurate communication with project / release deliverable staff throughout the life cycle of the project / release. Monitor and manage budgets. Must be familiar with the system€™s scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the teams. Identify and monitor project / release risks.

Regularly communicates to senior management regarding the status of specific deliverables.

Provide continuous improvement measures into release performance testing & implementations processes, standards or plans in support of the business.

Effectively lead the project team to align with the business objectives, project / release schedule, and project budget.

Effectively deal with difficult situations. Help develop solutions to complex problems. Mentor more junior Project Managers.

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent training / experience.

PMP Certification preferred

Knowledge / Experience:

Advanced knowledge and demonstrated expertise in the areas of strategy, planning and project management required processes and techniques.

Experience with structured methodology and project planning tools.

Experience managing and controlling budgets

Experience setting expectations and managing deliverables across multiple teams

Knowledge of MasterCard and the payments industry preferred.

Strong organizational, multi-tasking and planning skills

Creative, resourceful and innovative problem solver.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, relationship-building and negotiation skills required with a solid track record for developing internal and external relationships.
