Sr. Programmer, Platform Services - Mainframe
Platform Services Mainframe interacts with many internal development and operations teams to support the MasterCard core applications and customer file transfers.
Have you worked in an ITIL shop utilizing a change, incident & problem tracking system?
Have you regularly supported other development and operations teams with implementations and issues?
Experience with TSO and mainframe utilities such as Fileaid, SDSF and other IBM utilities
Configuring, installing, maintaining and supporting BMC Mainview AutoOperator Components: Automation Rules and Continuous State Manager for started tasks
Knowledge of REXX language for creating and maintaining execs needed for rules
Support business disaster recovery procedures or fail over testing for assigned areas of responsibility
Ability to adhere to a standard work schedule as defined by the department, plus on-call rotation and after hours support and implementations that can require evening and weekend work
Create Cognos reports from alerts reported.
Support for ISPF TSO Panels used by applications for job submission
Engage other mainframe systems programmers as needed
Complete status reports, implementations, troubleshooting as required.
Provide technical assistance to Operations teams and development programmers for setting up alerts needed including use of OMNIBUS interface.
