The Transaction Security team develops new products for Mastercard's Fraud and Security program. We protect personal accounts and card issuers and aim to eradicate credit card fraud. Our goal is to combat criminals who are always trying new ways to steal our security. The Software Engineer will play a critical role in creating new product functionality including world-class backend and customer-facing features.


• Interpret requirements and develop to company standards.

• Help the team understand the industry and build well tested code.

• Prioritize work and drive to meet team goals

All About You

• Understanding of core Java, Oracle SQL, JavaScript web frameworks.

• Understanding of cloud enablement practices, PCF or other cloud platforms, Angular, React or VUE, and the software development lifecycle.

• Desirable capabilities would include Testing Procedures for unit testing, Swagger or Open API, and Sonar for code quality and security.

• Considerate, fun-loving, and collaborative.

• Solid organizational and communication skills: both verbal and written.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
