Senior Program Manager (Instructional Design)


• Owns proactive planning, design, execution, and delivery, from inception to completion within schedule and budget, for one or more Business Operations Guild Education & Enablement programs

• Uses growing depth of business knowledge in ITIL, telemetry, and DevOps, as well as knowledge of market and internal best-practices to consult with internal stakeholders for instructionally designing and delivering engaging learning programs that will enable the Future of Biz Ops and Site Reliability Engineering

• Translates business requirements into meaningful learning experiences that drive measurable outcomes using next-practice learning metrics, aligned with Biz Ops Guild Objectives

• Reports on progress throughout all stages of design and build, as well as, success of training or initiative, ensuring dependencies are owned, while illuminating and mitigating risks to completion


• Plan, manage and execute projects from inception to completion, per business requirements, clearly articulating scope, timelines, dependencies, owners, actions, risks, and mitigations throughout

• Proactively manage and design the end-to-end delivery of cross functional guild education initiatives, aligning contributors and harmonizing discordant views around common outcomes necessary for delivery

• Consult to drive clarity across key internal stakeholders, domain experts and external vendors on respective learning objectives, drive constructive discussions and coordinate execution of deliverables

• Build engaging learning programs around next-practice metrics that expand Guild insights, tracking learner engagement, skill development and program ROI

• Report status and outcomes of educational programs and solutions to stakeholders continuously

• Collaborate with dependent teams to secure resources, scope efforts, set priorities and establish delivery milestones

• Prioritize work for effective execution, proactively identifying issues and risks, managing to resolution

• Work cross-functionally with other Guilds, Programs, P&C, Communications, Legal, CorpSec, EDE etc. to design engaging experiences within the scope of our technology, legal requirement, as well as brand and other organizational guidelines

• Own project communications, ensuring the right information about the status of a project is delivered to the right audience at the right time, and marketing of learning campaigns and resources

• Develop strong working relationships with peers, managers, customers, and stakeholders

• Create thriving communities of practice centered around functional business requirements to drive business objectives


• Experience designing engaging learning experiences as instructional designer, including managing the day-to-day training programs design, measurement, build, execution, communications, and tracking

• Experience consulting with key internal stakeholders to identify organizational gaps and requirements, translating into learning outcomes, and coordinating with internal SMEs and external vendors/resources on successful curation and design of effective and engaging business training programs

• Demonstrated knowledge of market and internal best-practices around designing and delivering successful, measurable learning programs

• Skilled in developing meaningful and targeted presentations, as well as in presenting to audiences, will set you up for success

• Visual design skills a plus (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator)

• Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts preferred
