RPPS-Billpay - Sr Engineer 2

Overview

Core Payments (Products) division of MasterCard is involved in developing & supporting Authorization, Clearing solutions for MasterCard customers

RPPS® / Billpay is an electronic payment network that enables consumer bill payments for approximately 95 percent of electronic bill payment industry service providers in the U.S. region

Develop solutions for RPPS® / Billpay and also support other Core Payments systems. This would involve Analysis, Design, Coding, testing and Implementation

Develop project schedule and track the deliverables

Coordinate and work with interfacing applications and MasterCard vendors to ensure success of the project

Do you have an understanding of Payments and Cards industry?

Role

Responsible for the day to day software development efforts including systems analysis, design, development & delivery of software solutions

Work with the Solution Architect to assist in developing technical strategy & roadmaps

Participate in daily scrum meetings and weekly tactical discussions

Collaborate with business and technical partners

Assist in the evaluation of 3rd parties and 3rd party products

Adhere to established software development processes

Effectively communicate to management, business owners, and other stake holders

Contribute to the overall strategy and manage complex issues within functional area of expertise

All About You

Education: Bachelor€™s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other equivalent technical field

Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline design and development using Jenkins

Good understanding of web/API technologies and infrastructure connectivity, and security

Familiarity with a backend languages: Java / Groovy

Knowledge of Build tool: NPM, Gulp

Knowledge of infrastructure automation

Knowledge of cloud native development such as cloud foundry, kubernetes etc. Analytical and reasoning skills

Experience on Agile software development methodology

Ability to multi task and meet deadlines

Strong Communication with good verbal and written skills
