The Mastercard Operations & Technology (O&T) Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Technology team supports the lifecycle of M&A activities, from strategic company/partner evaluation, through due diligence, to the guidance and support of integrations. This role would develop systems, procedures, and enforce policies for data management for the M&A Program.

The Role:

Responsible for implementing data controls related to the collection and storage of sensitive and confidential data

Assist with developing and implementing data strategy and data governance principles

Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing

Assess and evolve compliance with data retention polices and guidelines

Create rules and procedures for data sharing

Regularly monitor and evaluate information and data systems that could affect decision making and analytical results.

Provide oversight for new initiatives into data standards and structures

Develop and implement procedures for effective data management for tool support and reporting

Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plan procedures; reviews, revises, and expands existing plans and protocols

Train and educate team members on standards and policy adherence

Must be self-motivated and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Must be able to think critically and pay close attention to details

Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with database administration/management is preferred
