Manager, Product Management, Enterprise Data Platforms

Overview

The Manager, Product Management, Enterprise Data Platforms is responsible for contributing to the adoption and implementation of data programs and platforms in support of our goal for company-wide adoption of better data capabilities and practices at Mastercard.

This role will act as a liaison globally between business teams and the Business Operations and Data Platforms technology groups, to drive systems integrations and implementation of required processes to ensure relevant data is made available for compliance, operations, and innovation. In addition, this role will support other projects within the Data Strategy & Management organization (Chief Data Office) that are critical to strategic data enablement and data privacy objectives.

The position provides a unique opportunity to work across the global organization to manage business critical data programs. This role requires a highly organized individual who understands data platforms and data management concepts, and who can work collaboratively across functional areas.

Role

• Work with product owners and vendors to enable onboarding of platforms to Enterprise Data Platform services to support data privacy requirements, compliance, and innovation

• Effectively partner with product, O&T, DS&M and other teams to deliver on data engagements

• Communicate on value propositions to support expansion of data management practices and platforms across the organization

• Identify opportunities for simplifying and streamlining data-related processes

• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to define and implement Data Platforms integration processes and technology

• Manage data platform or data-related projects to support and drive key initiatives delivering innovation, compliance and increased efficiency.

• Develop and maintain documentation and training content as it evolves and conduct informational training sessions

• Contribute to process definitions to improve platforms adoption and development

All About You

• Great interpersonal skills with proven experience in relationship building and partnering

• Highly organized and motivated self-starter with ability to excel at multi-tasking in a fast paced environment

• Experience in roles such as Product Management, Product Integration, or Product Operations.

• Good knowledge and experience in technology development practices such as SAFe

• Payments industry experience or experience with equally complex systems is desired

• Familiarity with industry best practices for collection and use of data is desired
