Human Resources Leader, Global Learning

The Manager, Learning & Development supports talent development for Operations & Technology employees around the globe. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Talent Development based in St. Louis, this position operates both strategically and tactically on initiatives that drive Mastercards business priorities.
As this role serves a geographically and culturally diverse employee base, experience in working with global teams and understanding cultural sensitivities is critical. Candidates will be expected to work flexibly and travel as required to Global Technology Hubs in all regions in order to be fully effective in this position.

Act as a next-practice leader in designing, developing and implementing solutions leveraging digital, mobile, and social technologies to change the way our employees experience and apply learning.
Consult with internal and external stakeholders to understand challenges facing Mastercard employees and business priorities.
Partner with Global HR, Global Talent Development, and Regional Talent Leads to support Operations & Technology employees in all regions and locations.
Invent and develop engaging learning experiences and programs by establishing clear learning objectives and using strong instructional design, content acquisition/development, and learning program delivery skills.
Create and manage pilots to test new concepts and learn before launching full scale programs. Manage large scale global projects with multiple stakeholders and drive data collection/analysis for monthly reporting.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with employees/managers across the organization and serve as external brand ambassador by demonstrating thought leadership and sharing next practices with industry professionals.

Expert learning and development consulting experience with all levels of leadership.
Advanced program management skills required to implement/execute multiple high-priority, high-visibility projects.
Intermediate to advanced technical language competency required to have in-depth technology discussions with stakeholders.
Intermediate to advanced experience in learning data collection and analysis for business impact reporting.
Proficiency in presenting AND facilitating to internal/external groups with varying audience sizes and leadership levels.
Proactive team player and self-starter with high attention to detail and quality.
