The Operations, Network and Employee Digital Experience (ONE) team is looking for a Director of System Platform Engineering- Mergers and Acquisitions to join a team focused on Mastercard partnerships and integrations with industry leading technology organizations, as well as potential acquisition entities.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer focused on Mergers and Acquisition infrastructure integration. They will act as an Integration Leader passionate about new and emerging technologies, be highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. Experience in integrating Data across disparate persistence technologies in support of complex application and service needs, as well as effective partnering with market facing product and engineering teams, will be highly beneficial to the success of this role.

Responsibilities of this role to include, but not be limited to:

•Working with the teams to find resilient and reliable solutions to integration challenges with vendors and /or acquired entities, that meet Mastercard's high security and quality standards.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong collaboration skills across disparate technology vendors and business units.

• Resolves chronic complex problems, providing managerial operational support to maintain systems and platforms

• Setting priorities, objectives, and driving deliverables within global technology domains and sub-domains

• Recommends and implements business and process improvements to facilitate optimal performance.

• Successful track record developing and maintaining complex platform solutions

• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and automation activities

• Developing relationships and partnering with internal customers across development verticals to support system and platform initiatives

*Strong ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries

*Ability to lead a top performing team in delivering a consistent, repeatable, refinable project initiation experience creating a clear path to success

*Ability to serve as a technology project center of excellence by capturing best practices and lessons learned

*Provide unique, high-level view of current and upcoming projects to strategically address hardware procurement, and resourcing /staffing needs

*Lead a team that is able to reduce amount of involvement required from developers / engineers during early stages of planning

*Lead a team to reduce solution time-to-market

*Supply recommendation for onboarding to Mastercard Network and Infrastructure standards

*Serve as the primary team that ensures acquisitions integrate to Mastercard tech standards.

*Work closely with the existing Merger and Acquisition Team that is focused on coordinating the conversion of network and customer integration into the Mastercard umbrella helping to accelerate & streamline acquisition onboarding

*Work across organizational boundaries to develop a ‘safe zone” to provide acquisitions with the tools needed to safely join the Mastercard Network earlier

*Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure Experience is strongly preferred
