Director, HR Technology and Business Systems Strategy

Overview:

The Director HRIS Business Systems Analyst is responsible for delivering and supporting Mastercard HRIS and related solutions by partnering with Mastercard business process owners (primarily Human Resources) and technology team members. He/she will be part of a dynamic team charged with implementing enterprise business applications for Mastercard and delivering a simplified employee experience.

Role:

Partner with the various teams across Mastercard (HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, IT, Legal etc.) to support Mastercard's business applications by advising best practices, recommending process improvements and implementing system enhancements that advance the goals of the business.

Provide thought leadership regarding HR technology solutions and strategies for new programs, projects and enhancements to existing solutions.

Oversee a team who delivers application configuration in Workday, and other related enterprise systems.

Partner with business stakeholders to analyze, understand and improve operations that increase employee productivity and the user experience.

Establish a routine for measuring and analyzing system effectiveness for continuous improvement.

Oversee the ongoing improvement and maturity of quality assurance and testing capability.

Act as the project technical lead to help scope projects and ensure delivered solutions fulfill the needs of stakeholders.

Oversee system integrations, including understanding both source/target data and any transformation or mappings needed.

Expand capabilities to further leverage agile and deliver results in a global service delivery model.

Supervises a team, conducts goal-setting and performance appraisal, and identifies and coaches talent for progression.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to transform business requirements into system improvements that ultimately advance the initiatives of Mastercard. The attributes of the successful candidate are:

experience implementing and supporting enterprise business applications.

The ideal candidate will have a background in cloud-based application design and implementation. Experience with Workday HCM is ideal.

Strong and effective written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Comfortable with juggling multiple priorities with the ability to manage time effectively.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical and investigative skills.

Previous experience working in an agile environment.
