Consultant, Technical Program Management


The Technical Program Manager for the Core Nationalism team provides overall project management leadership by acting as the nationalism Subject Matter Expert (SME) for O&T, ensuring consistency across the organization, executing upon the nationalism strategy and providing overall project management leadership to ensure the health- budget, schedule, and risk mitigation of all projects within a line of business.

Nationalism has become an opportunity for Mastercard to proactively engage with governments and regulators to further articulate our value proposition in strategic and developing markets. Our project manager successfully leads the project team from analysis to project delivery, safeguarding regulatory requirements with O&T for the future strategy to deliver a scalable, flexible, redeployable on-soil solution.

This key position enables the team to successfully engage throughout the software build and deploy process and navigate roadblocks with focus on the following phases:

• Business Requirements

• Functional Requirements and UAT Support

• Lead in Status Meetings and Post-Implementation Reviews


• Manage the overall coordination, status reporting, financials, schedules and stability of project-oriented work efforts, ensures that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope and resource requirements

• Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes within budget constraints

• Advanced knowledge and demonstrated expertise in the areas of strategy, planning and project management required processes and techniques.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, relationship-building and negotiation skills required with a solid track record for developing internal and external relationships.

• Strong listening, verbal, written and presentation skills.

• Above average organizational, planning and multi-tasking skills.

• Effective communication methodology with senior management

• Knowledge of payments industry preferred, MasterCard specific knowledge highly preferred.

• Intermediate experience with Project Management structured methodology and project planning tools. Proven experience running a project using Agile methodology required.
