Connect is the secure global platform where Mastercard business customers come to onboard, enroll, service, and grow their business with us. This position requires you to have a GM mindset. You need to think like a CEO yet execute like there’s nothing beneath you.
You will lead and manage a multidisciplinary team based in our Tech Hubs in NY City and India. We are seeking an inspirational and experienced senior technology leader to build and guide the team. Your teams will conceive and deliver on the product and technical vision. You will be tasked with solving complex business and technology problems in a fast-paced agile environment, constantly learning and adapting to rapidly evolving customer needs. You will have the freedom and encouragement to experiment, improve, invent and innovate on behalf of our customers. It is a unique opportunity to be a key contributor to one of our most valuable properties.
You will have substantial proven experience in leading product and engineering teams through periods of growth and high ambiguity. You have a combination of technical background and business acumen that enables you to make quick decisions and guide others in making continuous progress. Strong judgement and communication skills, long-term technical and product vision, and continuous focus on inventing on behalf of the customer and implementing engineering and operational excellence practices are essential for success in this role.
You will play an active role in developing business and functional requirements and will contribute to the strategic direction while being versed in the detail of concrete deliverables. You will work in partnership with other leaders across the organization and world and should relish the idea of collaborating across multiple teams and geographies to solve complex problems.
The ideal candidate is:
• A hands-on people leader who has a proven track record of building high performing teams with 10+ years of leading product and engineering teams
• A technologist at heart with 10+ years of relevant technology-related experience.
